Submission Deadlines
The 2010 deadlines for manuscript submission are November 20th, January 22nd, March 19th, May 21st, July 22nd, and September 22nd. Manuscripts that are received by these deadlines and are accepted without further revision are eligible for publication on the The American Journal of Geriatric Pharmacotherapy Web site in 7 weeks and in the journal in 10 weeks. The publication date is on or about the 15th day of the month. Manuscripts that are revised, resubmitted, and then accepted are usually published on the Web site in 6 weeks and in print 9 weeks after resubmission.
Receipt of manuscripts that fulfill the requirements for submission is acknowledged in writing. Authors should refer to the assigned manuscript number in all related correspondence. Papers that do not adhere to the manuscript requirements may be returned for revision before being reviewed.

All articles are submitted to PubMed after publication. The amount of time between publication and appearance on PubMed is dependent on the National Library of Medicine’s internal processes and workflow, over which we as publishers have no control. All authors must complete a copyright transfer form and a declarations form before a manuscript will be published. Delayed receipt of these forms from ALL authors will delay the publication of the paper to the subsequent month.What are your turnaround times?
You can expect to receive the edited manuscript within 3 weeks of acceptance, depending on the workflow at the journal. You will be expected to return your comments and revisions within 3 business days. Galley proofs will follow within 1 week, with turnaround/final approval expected within 24 hours. If you must circulate the paper to various authors for approval, please make contingency plans if 1 or more authors is expected to be out of the office.My paper hasn’t yet been published online or in print, but I need the full citation. How can I obtain this?
