  • Health services research related to drug therapy and pharmaceutical outcomes research in older patients
  • In-depth review articles on special topics related to drugs and the elderly

Drug-Related Problems in the Elderly

The American Journal of Geriatric Pharmacotherapy also publishes Drug-Related Problems in the Elderly, which focuses on adverse drug events/reactions, prescribing appropriateness, undermedication, and adverse drug withdrawal events.

Supplements

The journal also publishes supplements based on proceedings of symposia and investigator meetings, and collected articles on topics such as single drugs with multiple disease applications and diseases for which multiple therapeutic approaches exist.

Because of the rapid publication process, time-sensitive topics are of particular interest.
